Strength grading of wood - Part 3: Devices for supporting visual grading of sawn timber; Requirements and testing
Abstract
This standard specifies requirements and tests for equipment for the detection of additional sorting characteristics during the visual sorting of sawn timber in accordance with DIN 4074-1 and DIN 4074-5. The purpose of these requirements and tests is to ensure the proper functioning of this sorting process. If visual sorting is supported by equipment, e.g. for determining the density, this is a visual sorting process that fulfills the requirements for visual sorting in accordance with DIN EN 14081-1.
