Overview
This product standard specifies the shapes and dimensions of elastomer waterstops and also the scope and frequency of inspections. The material properties specified in DIN 7865-2 are an integral part of this standard. The elastomer waterstops defined in this standard make it possible to combine the products of different manufacturers to suit the particular application. The polymer is to be retained. The standard is edited by Working Committee NA 045-02-10 AA "Fugendichtungen" ("Sealants") at DIN Standards Committee Rubber Technology (FAKAU).
