Overview
This product standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 045-02-10 AA "Fugendichtungen" ("Sealants") at DIN Standards Committee Rubber Technology (FAKAU). This standard specifies material requirements for elastomer waterstops and also the scope and frequency of inspections. It does not give guidance on the practical application of the waterstops in construction work. DIN 18197 lays down specifications for the function and construction principles of waterstops, and the corresponding selection criteria.
