The product standard on rubber hoses and hose assemblies for water suction and discharge specifies requirements for the elastomeric compounds and hoses used. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products", SC 1 "Hoses" (secretariat: DSM, Malaysia) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies" (secretariat: BSI). The responsible national Standards Committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Schläuche" ("Hoses") of the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
