Overview
The present standard is an interface standard for the low-voltage supply of mobile respectively deployable military applications. This standard applies to power installations in mobile respectively deployable military applications. The purpose of the standard is to define a uniform circuit, in particular the connection points and the protective measures. This standard is also valid for information and communication technology (ICT technology) according to DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717):2010-10. The low voltage supply of the information and communication technology shall be separated according to DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717):2010-10, Figure 717.6 with an isolating transformer from the input power supply. The low voltage supply can be made in this way via unchecked grids or generators. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 140-00-17-24 UA "Übersichtsschaltplan für Kabinen" ("Complete circuit diagram for cabins") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
