Overview
This standard is a product standard for heat shrinkable components. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 140-00-02 AA "Wärmeschrumpfende Bauelemente und Isoliermaterialien" ("Heat shrinkable components and insulation material") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard applies in connection with VG 95343-2 for connector endshells without inner coating, halogen free, which are used as endshells with electric plug connectors. The heat shrinkable connector endshells without inner coating in accordance with this standard are subject to type testing in accordance with VG 95211. Heat shrinkable connector endshells in accordance with this standard can be used at ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +135 °C.
