Overview
This standard is a product standard for connectors. The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). The contacts belong to the delivery extent of the fixed and free connectors according to VG 96944-4. To make an additional order and the storage possible the following designations are established in this standard. The contacts and contact inserts in accordance with this standard are tested and used in conjunction with connectors in accordance with VG 96944-4. The contacts and contact inserts according to this standard are subject to the type approval according to VG 95211.
