Overview
This standard applies in conjunction with the generic standard VG 96932-2 to rechargeable lithium batteries 14,8 V 5,4 Ah used in the German armed forces. The standard contains the technical requirements such as dimensions, materials, integrated battery management systems, short-circuit protection, deep discharge protection, charging procedure, electromagnetic compatibility, information on type testing, quality assurance as well as marking and packaging. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE), Working Committee NA 140-00-03 AA "Batterien" ("Batteries").
