Overview
This standard is a product standard for plug-and-socket devices. This standard is valid for connectors with protective contact, 16 A, AC 250 V, pressure-water tight in conjunction with the respective standards of the same VG-main-number (subsequent parts) and contains the requirements and test conditions which are the same for these plug-and-socket devices. Plug-and-socket devices according to this standard are subject to type test according to VG 95211. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-14-03 UA "Steckvorrichtungen" ("Plugs and socket-outlets") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
