Overview
This standard is a product standard for the field assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in conjunction with the basic standard VG 96927-2 for cable assemblies with 10 connecting lines. Cable assemblies in accordance with this standard are required to undergo qualification testing according to VG 95211.
