Abstract
This standard is applicable in connection with standards of the series VG 96975 topressure water-tight resp. hermetic sealed circular electrical connectors with threaded coupling (double-start thread) without protective contact and protection against electric-shock hazard as well as their backshells and protective covers. They can be used at ambient temperatures of -55 °C to 150 °C. Requirements and regulations which are identical for all types of components are included in the basic standard VG 95319-2.
