Air regulating systems for mining - Wing air doors for haulage tracks - Double-wing type doors without pressure reduction
Wetterbauwerke für den Bergbau - Flügeltüren für den Förderweg - Nicht druckentlastete zweiflügelige Wettertüren
Overview
Underground workings in mines must be supplied with fresh air. The air flow is guided and regulated via air regulating systems. Air doors are openings in these regulating systems which serve for the passage of persons (travelling track) or haulage (haulage track). This standard applies to air doors which are primarily intended for main motor-haulage roads and self-propelled suspended monorails. Their style of construction allows the direct joining of travelling track air doors according to DIN 21631. The doors are without pressure reduction, so the force in front and behind the door resulting from the difference of the weather pressures must be overcome upon opening. They are suitable for pressure differences of up to approximately 1 500 Pa and can be operated with pneumatic cylinders according to DIN 21640-1. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-06-01 AA "Wettertüren" ("Air doors") of FABERG.
