Overview
This standard specifies dimensions and symbols for single-row spherical roller bearings (barrel roller bearings). In consideration of the general plan of boundary dimensions stated in DIN 616, it offers an adjusted selection of spherical roller bearings of this construction for the practical needs of the users. The outer dimensions of the spherical roller bearings are in accordance with ISO 15. With respect to DIN 635-1:1987-08 the standard has been completely revised. The figures relating to mass and the dimensional series 04 - designs 20405 to 20422 - have been deleted in Table 1. The normative references have been updated. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 118-01-09 AA "Kegelrollenlager und Pendelrollenlager einschließlich Teile" ("Tapered rolling bearings and spherical roller bearings, including parts").
