DIN Standards Committee Water Practice

Abstract

This document was prepared by the working committee NA 119-05-11 AA "Drain fittings, drains, backwater valves and ventilation valves for use inside buildings (CEN/TC 165/WG 11)" in the DIN Water Resources Standards Committee (NAW). This document applies to urinal connectors for connecting urinals, that do not comply with DIN EN 13407, to the connection pipe of the building's drainage system in accordance with DIN EN 12056 and DIN 1986-100 and in accordance with general building authority approval. It specifies requirements for dimensions, materials, function and interchangeability of urinal connection pieces and their testing. The following changes have been made to DIN 1380:2001-05: a) the scope of application has been reduced compared to DIN 1380:2001-05: b) the use of thermoplastic-elastomeric sealing materials in accordance with DIN EN 681-2 has been included in the standard; c) the standard has been editorially revised and normative references have been updatedtandard has been editorially revised and normative references have been updated
