DIN Standards Committee Water Practice

Overview

DIN EN ISO 9967 specifies a method for determining the creep ratio of thermoplastics pipes having a circular cross-section. The standard is addressed to manufacturers, installers and testing facilities. In particular, it covers aspects of quality and product safety. This standard is the result of the revision of DIN EN ISO 9967 from 2008. The International Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids" (secretariat: JISC, Japan) and adopted as EN ISO 9967 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems" (secretariat: NEN, Netherlands). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
