Overview
The public is provided with the German version of the revised EN ISO 10931 from 2006, DIN EN ISO 10931 "Plastics piping systems for industrial applications - Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) - Specifications for components and the system". Table A.3 has been revised. This standard specifies the characteristics and requirements for components such as pipes, fittings and valves made from poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), intended to be used for thermoplastics piping systems in the field of industrial applications above-ground. It is directed at design engineers, manufacturers, certification bodies, inspection bodies and users of piping systems made from polyvinyldene fluoride (PVDF). The standard has the nature of a delivery standard. In particular, the standards of the series contain aspects of quality and product safety. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-05-05 AA "Industrie-Rohrleitungen" ("Plastics pipes for industrial applications") at FNK.
