Overview
The European Standard is a new edition. In addition to purity criteria and the corresponding analysis methods, requirements for the marking, transportation and storage of each respective product as well as specific rules relating to safety are specified. Moreover, information about physical and chemical properties and general information for manufacture and use of the products are included. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with active German participation of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Drinking water treatment") of NAW.
