Overview
In addition to purity criteria and the corresponding methods of analysis, labelling, transportation and storage requirements of the corresponding products as well as specific rules relating to safety are specified in this European Standard. It also contains information on physical and chemical properties as well as general information on the manufacture and use of the products. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA of the same name at NAW.
