Overview
These European Standards are new editions. In addition to the purity criteria and the corresponding methods of analysis, requirements for labelling, transportation, storage of the respective products and the specific safety rules are specified. The standard also contains details on the physical and chemical properties and general information regarding the manufacturing and use of the products. The European Standards have been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA of the same name, of NAW.
