((DIN EN 15796, DIN EN 15797, DIN EN 15798, DIN EN 15799)) In the European Standards requirements for the designation, transport and storage of the respective products and specific safety rules are specified in addition to purity criteria and the corresponding methods of analysis. Furthermore the standard provides information on physical and chemical properties and general information on the manufacturing and use of the products. The European Standards have been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Drinking water treatment") of NAW.
