Overview

The purpose of this standard is to provide a coherent presentation of the state quantities of the electromagnetic field which are individually defined in Part 121 of the International Electrotechnical Dictionary (IEV). No corresponding regional or international standards exist for the scope of this standard. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 152-01-06 AA "Elektrotechnik" ("Electrotechnology") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG) in collaboration with DKE/GAK 111.0.1 "General scientific and technical terms".
