Overview
ISO 80000-12 gives names, symbols and definitions for quantities and units of solid state physics. Where appropriate, conversion factors are also given. ISO 80000-12 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 12 "Quantities and units" (secretariat: SIS, Sweden) with the cooperation of German specialists. The responsible German body involved in its preparation was Working Committee NA 152-01-09-03 AK "Festkörperphysik" ("Solid state physics"). ISO 80000-12 gives names, symbols and definitions for quantities and units of solid state physics. Where appropriate, conversion factors are also given.
