PN 250 and PN 400 valves with shut-off test connection for pressure gauges
Abstract
This document is applicable to valves for pressure gauges for use in pressure measuring setups for liquids, gases and vapours, with shut-off test connection, for a maximum allowable pressure of 250 bar (brass) and 400 bar (steel and stainless steel) and a maximum allowable temperature of 120 °C.
Two design types are specified:
- Form A: with adjusting nut;
- Form B: with nipple connection and shaft for measuring instruments supports according to DIN 16281.
This document does not cover sealing washers; for these, DIN EN 837-1 applies. DIN 16270 applies to valves PN 250 and PN 400 without shut-off connection.
