DIN Standards Committee Tank Installations
Angular steel tanks for above ground storage of liquids with a flashpoint of more than 55 °C - Part 1: Principles for installation and test
Abstract
This standard applies to stationary, angular steel tanks with flat walls and bottoms for the unpressurized storage of liquids with a flash point of more than 55 °C, which are manufactured in the factory or at the installation site. If the containers are not installed in buildings but outdoors, their resistance to weathering, snow loads and wind pressure must be verified in particular. The effects of flooding and earthquakes are not taken into account. This standard applies together with DIN 6600 and DIN 6601.
