Leisure accomodation vehicles
The working committee NA 112-02-02 AA "Leisure accomodation vehicles" of the Sports Equipment Standards Committee is responsible for the standardisation of leisure accommodation vehicles for the use on vacation and in recreational activities. Under the category of leisure accommodation vehicles fall caravans, camper and caravan holiday homes. The safety related standards are listed in the Directory 1 of GPSG (law for safety of equipment and products). Important aspects of the standardisation of leisure accommodation vehicles are e. g. habitation requirements relating to health and safety; such as internal equipment, drinking water supply, heating as well as fire precautions especially means of escape. Delegates of this committee represent the German standardisation interests on European level (CEN/TC 245).
