The committee NA 112-03-01 AA "Ski and Snowboard Sport Equipment" of the Sports Equipment Standards Committee is responsible for the standardisation of snow sport equipment. Under this category fall ski poles, boots for ski (alpine, telemark, and touring ski) and snowboard, ski bindings (alpine, telemark, cross-country and touring ski). Important aspects of the standardisation of ski and snowboard sport equipment are e. g. safety-related requirements, test methods and marking. Germany also holds the secretariat of the International working group ISO/TC 83/SC 4/WG 2 "Bindings for ski and snowboards" and assigns its convenor.
