Overview

This product standard contains requirements and tests for mobile dispensers for use in communal catering. Dispensers are used to hold and transport dishes, baskets or trays. In particular, this standard focuses on specifications for safety, construction and operation, as well as aspects of hygiene. When a customer purchases a mobile dispenser, this standard is intended to ensure that this device meets the requirements and stresses of daily use in catering operations. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 040-05-02 AA "Großküchengeräte" ("Equipment for commercial kitchens") at DIN.
