Overview
This International Standard specifies requirements for classification of solid wires and rods for fusion welding of aluminium and aluminium alloys. The classification of the solid wires and rods is based on their chemical composition. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-03 AA "Schweißzusätze (DVS AG W 5)" ("Welding consumables (DVS AG W5)") at DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes (NAS).
