Due to the new gas letter code specified in ISO 10225, ISO 5172 needed to be amended accordingly. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 092-00-07 AA "Ausrüstung zum Gasschweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse" ("Equipment for gas welding, cutting and allied processes") at NAS.
