DIN EN ISO 14920
Thermal spraying - Spraying and fusing of self-fluxing alloys (ISO 14920:2015); German version EN ISO 14920:2015
Thermisches Spritzen - Spritzen und Einschmelzen von selbstfließenden Legierungen (ISO 14920:2015); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 14920:2015
Overview
The document applies for thermal spraying of self-fluxing alloys that are simultaneously or subsequently fused to create a homogeneous, diffusion bonded coating. This standard differs from DIN EN ISO 14920:1999-03 as follows: Normative references in Clause 2 have been updated; the reference to DIN EN ISO 14924 (Post-treatment and finishing of thermally sprayed coatings) has been included; Table A.1 (Reference values for the expected hardness of the fused coating) in Annex A has been revised; d) 7.5 (Hardness testing), now Clause 8, has been completely revised and a new size of the test area has been introduced. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 240 "Thermal spraying and thermal sprayed coatings". The responsible German standardization committee is DIN/DVS Joint Committee NA 092-00-14 AA "Thermisches Spritzen und thermisch gespritzte Schichten (DVS AG V 7)" ("Thermal spraying and thermal sprayed coatings (DVS AG V 7)") at NAS.
