DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes

Overview

Guard rails according to this standard are used in the outside areas of ships; they are not intended for passenger ships. Safety requirements, designs, dimensions, materials and parts are specified. Furthermore, examples for installation are given. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 132-01-04 AA "Verkehrswege" ("Traffic routes") at DIN.
