DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes

Overview

This International Standard specifies welding positions for testing and production, for butt and fillet welds, in all product forms. This edition also specifies positions for production welding. Unlike testing positions, these positions are contiguous. Welds of all types and in all directions are covered by this standard. Two annexes provide information about the limits of the slope of a weld axis and the rotation of the weld face about the weld axis for welding positions, and, on the basis of CEN/TR 14633, a comparison of International, European and US designations. The International Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 44 "Welding and allied processes", in collaboration with CEN/TC 121 "Welding", the secretariat of which is held by DIN. The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 092-00-06 AA "Darstellung und Begriffe (DVS AG I 4)" ("Representation and terms (DVS AG I 4)") at NAS. DIN 33946 This standard specifies requirements for the sound pressure level and durability, as well as the appropriate method of measurement for bells, that are fixed to bicycles and to certain types of bicycles with auxiliary engine. This standard (DIN 33946:2009) has been prepared by German Working Committee NA 112-06-02 AA "Fahrrad-Zubehör" ("Accessories for bicycles") of the Sports Equipment Standards Committee (NASport) at DIN.
