The Technical Committee develops DIN Standards as well as DVS guidelines in the field of thermal cutting. This includes the standardization of terms and definitions, classification standards, acceptance tests for cutting equipment, quality requirements and quality levels of thermal cuts as well as the applications and recommendations for thermal cutting of metallic materials.
