Calibration and Quantification of the SPECT/CT - Part 201: Calibration of the SPECT/CT for Lu-177
Abstract
This part of DIN 6858 is valid for the initial determination and verification of the calibration factor for a single photon emission tomograph with built-in X-ray equipment (SPECT/CT) for the activity measurement in the therapeutic application of the radionuclide Lu-177, unless the SPECT/CT has a calibration by means of sealed sources or other procedures are specified by the manufacturer. This document describes the procedure for calibration of the SPECT/CT for Lu-177 relative to a radionuclide calibrator calibrated according to DIN EN 61303.
