Medical electron accelerator - Part 7: Acceptance and constancy testing of X-ray radiation-based equipment for image-guided radiotherapy
Abstract
This standard applies to the performance of the acceptance test and constancy test on X-ray based devices for image guided radiotherapy (IGRT), which work with semiconductor image receivers and where the assessment of the patient's position control is performed on the image display device. Standards have already been published for partial components of the digital radiography system. The testing of the image documentation system or the image reproduction device is therefore not subject of this standard.
