Overview
This standard has been prepared by committee NA 060-18-02 AA "Fleischverarbeitungsmaschinen" ("Meat processing machinery") at Technical Section "Food Processing Machinery" at DIN Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering (NAM). Representatives of the manufacturers and users of meat processing machinery as well as representatives of the employers' liability insurance associations contributed to this standard. This standard specifies the composition and designations of typical cutting sets, three-part or five-part, according to the Unger system in sizes R70 mm to X400 mm. The standard differs from DIN 9810:2009-12 as follows: a) the title of the standard has been changed; b) the foreword contains in part the "Explanatory notes" clause of the 1977-08 edition; c) Clause 2 "Normative references" has been revised; d) Table 1 has been revised and now also contains coded cutting set parts; e) Figure 1 and Figure 2 have been adapted to Table 1; f) Figure 2 now also shows coded cutting set parts; g) the clause "Bibliography" has been added.
