Overview
In the new version of DIN EN 1300, the normative references have been updated and a new term "one time code" has been included. Furthermore, errors have been corrected and editorial modifications for the description of the requirements have been made. Moreover, a manual manipulation test for mechanical key locks with less than 80 000 codes to achieve class A has been specified. The requirements for the electrical and electromagnetic resistance and vibration have been adjusted, as well as the specifications for the testing of the key strength and the shock resistance of locks. Annex A has been given the normative status, Annex D (informative) "Lock dimensions" has been incorporated. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 020-00-15 AA "Hochsicherheitsschlösser" ("High security locks") at DIN.
