Food processing machinery - Mixing machines - Safety and hygiene requirements; German version EN 13570:2005+A1:2010
Nahrungsmittelmaschinen - Mischmaschinen - Sicherheits- und Hygieneanforderungen; Deutsche Fassung EN 13570:2005+A1:2010
Overview
This standard defines relevant requirements set out in Annex I of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, relating to machines which were placed on the European Economic Area (EEA) market for the first time, with the intent of simplifying the means of proving conformity with such requirements. Once this standard is designated a harmonized standard in the Official Journal of the European Communities, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (the so-called presumption of conformity). This European Standard deals with safety and hygiene requirements to minimize the hazards which can arise during the installation, use and maintenance of mixing machines and their accessories intended to be used in sausage kitchens and industrial enterprises. This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to mixing machines when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European Standard is not applicable to mixing machines which were manufactured before the date of issue of this European Standard by CEN.
