Abstract
The European standard EN 1953 defines safety requirements for hand-held and automatic spraying equipment for the application of coating materials (paint spray guns and powder coating guns). For electrostatically assisted spraying and spraying equipment, EN 50050, EN 50059, EN 50176, EN 50177 or EN 50348 give specific requirements in addition to EN 1953.
