Abstract
This document covers the safety requirements for machine design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, adjustment, maintenance and cleaning and identifies of five different types of food depositor. Food depositor typically comprise a hopper, a valve, a product measuring chamber in the form of a piston and a product dispensing valve. Depositors are used extensively in Europe, in commercial and industrial food preparation applications.
