Hand-held non-electric power tools - Safety requirements - Part 7: Grinders
Abstract
The standard, EN 792, applies to non-electric, hand-held power tools intended to be used in operation by one person using one or both hands, where the weight of the power tool is supported by the operator or by a harness or suspended e.g. by a balancer. The power tools are driven by rotary or linear motors powered by compressed air, hydraulic fluid, gaseous or liquid fuel or stored energy (e.g. by a spring). Electrically driven tools are not included. It lists the significant hazards caused by hand-held power tools.
