Abstract

This European standard specifies the safety and hygiene requirements for the design and manufacture of Baguette Slicers. This machines are used for slicing long thin breade (French stick bread), mainly used in the catering industry. This European standard considers hazards can arise from the design, operation, commissioning and maintenance of the baguette slicers. This standard does not apply to baguette slicers, which are intended to be used in households.
