DIN EN ISO 28927-5
Hand-held portable power tools - Test methods for evaluation of vibration emission - Part 5: Drills and impact drills (ISO 28927-5:2009 + Amd 1:2015); German version EN ISO 28927-5:2009 + A1:2015
Handgehaltene motorbetriebene Maschinen - Messverfahren zur Ermittlung der Schwingungsemission - Teil 5: Bohrmaschinen und Schlagbohrmaschinen (ISO 28927-5:2009 + Amd 1:2015); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 28927-5:2009 + A1:2015
Overview
The specified procedures are based on the basic requirements of DIN EN ISO 20643 "Mechanical vibration - Hand-held and hand-guided machinery - Principles for evaluation of vibration emission" and are used to determine the vibration characteristic values (vibration emission values). Thus the vibration characteristic value measured in this manner fulfills the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; it shall be stated in the technical documentation of the machine and enables the purchaser to select a low-vibration device. The International Standard on which this standard is based has been prepared by ISO/TC 118/SC 3 "Pneumatic tools and machines" in collaboration with CEN/TC 231 "Mechanical vibration and shock". CEN has published it unchanged as a European Standard. The responsible German committee is Committee NA 001-03-07-02 "Hand-Arm-Schwingungen" ("Hand-arm vibration"). The international and European amendment A1 incorporated in this new edition of the German standard concerns amended requirements for the pressure force for drills without hammer mechanism in 8.4.1.
