Assessment of shooting noise
Abstract
The VDI guideline VDI 3745 Blatt 1 for the measurement and assessment of shooting noise has been published in 1993. It is now been referenced in the German administrative regulation TA Lärm for many years as the relevant standard for shooting noise. Due to the further development of measuring equipment and new prediction methods (e.g. VDI 3745 Blatt 2), which can now also be used for shooting noise, new measurement and assessment methods are possible, which now can be integrated into the VDI guideline VDI 3745 Blatt 1.
