Acoustics - Determination of aircraft noise exposure at airfields - Part 2: Evaluation and generation of additional input data for calculation - Trajectory data and data acquisition system; Text in German and English
Abstract
This document specifies a method for calculating aircraft noise immissions in the vicinity of airports. This document does not apply to airfields which fall within the scope of the DIN 45684 standard series, nor to seaplane ports. On the one hand, the purpose of this document is to calculate the noise immission on the ground produced by individual aircraft for given operational boundary conditions (flight procedure, meteorological condition). On the other hand, this document provides a method by which the noise immission in the vicinity of existing or planned airports can be calculated and used as the basis for later evaluation. For this purpose the calculation method described in this document yields resulting acoustic parameters at any immission point within the airport environment. It is not the purpose of this document to specify assessment methods or to specify rules for the assessment of aircraft noise immissions around air-ports. This document applies to the following application cases: a) preparation of data acquisition systems for the calculation of aircraft noise immissions on airports; b) aircraft noise immission calculations; c) calculation of the immissions produced by ground based operations of aircraft (taxiing, operation of auxiliary power units). This document does not apply to the derivation of noise emission data for aircraft.
