This standard has been prepared by the Food and Agricultural Products Standards Committee (NAL), Working Committee NA 057-05-09 AA"Kaffee" ("Coffee") and specifies methods for determination of acrylamide content in coffee and coffee products using extraction, solid phase extraction and determination using HPLC-MS or GC-MS. It is applicable for roasted coffee, instant coffee, coffee substitutes and coffee products.
