Horizontal working group of section 2
The horizontal working committee coordinates the standardization work of all working committees of section 2. The horizontal working committee is responsible for standardization in the field of health informatics. The standardization should enable the exchange and compatibility between independent information systems in the field of healthcare. These include the specification of requirements for information systems and structures for clinical and administrative tasks, technical procedures to support data exchange, but also concerns for privacy, data security and quality assurance.
