Overview
DIN EN 10028-2 is a harmonized standard cited in the Official Journal of the European Union. Together with Part 1 of this series of standards, this European Standard contains requirements for flat products for pressure vessels made of unalloyed and alloyed steels with specified elevated temperature properties. This standard is considered harmonized because the aforementioned products are also (but not only) used in pressure vessel construction and therefore support the essential requirements of EU Directive 2014/68/EU. The responsible German standardization committee is Subcommittee 04/2 "Stähle für den Druckbehälterbau" ("Steels for pressure purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES).
