Overview
This standard specifies requirements for the design and calculation, materials, testing and certification of construction elements in systems for the piped supply of gas to the general public (gas supply systems). This standard does not apply to gas installations within the scope of DVGW-TRGI "Technical Rules on Gas Installations" (DVGW Code of Practice G 600), standard pressure equipment through which gas does not flow, compressor housings and components supplied with liquid gas in the liquid phase.
