Occupational respiratory protective devices
The national committee NA 027-02-04 AA Occupational respiratory protective devices together with its working groups develop standards which mainly complete the Essential Requirements of the EC-Directive on Personal Protective Equipment in this area. The committee mirrors the work of CEN/TC 79 Respiratory protective devices which develop product and test standards. At ISO level standards are developed within ISO/TC 94/SC 15 Respiratory protective devices, which, opposite to the European Standards, orientate oneself towards human factor like seeing and hearing. Both committees the secretariat is held by DIN and work is done with intensive participation of German experts.
